In the continuation of his previous volumes, Bernard Bacquié confirms the specialization of Éditions Latraux in the production of luxury works, with content resulting from meticulous research. He delivers here around forty unpublished photos of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, among the 107 reproduced, as well as dozens of other documents never previously published, such as the reports of the mechanic of his raids, André Prévot, or those coming National Archives, which allow to better understand his eviction from Aéropostale, his vain struggles to be a pilot at Air France, and his stinging accidents in Simoun. But still archives of the Allied Armies, long classified as a "Top Secret", in direct connection with his disappearance. Thanks to the careful analysis of the Reconnaissance group’s March Journal, all of its war flights were dissected there, until the fateful mission of July 31, 1944.
